The image shows a variety of different shapes such as triangles, rectangles and squares. It has a street sign in the centre of the image and a house in the left. There are multiple trees and a couple cars in it as well.
In every space in the photograph there is something occupying that area. Almost every space has a object in it. The street sign is the main thing that is in focus however almost everything else is out of focus. The photographer has framed the street sign in the middle and the bottom of the pole has been cropped out.
The whole image is somewhat mysterious because there is no living thing in sight, not even humans. Why take a photograph of a street sign? What was so fascinating about it? I think it would be a bit dull due to there basically being nothing in sight.
I think the artist took the picture because they wanted to capture what life was like when the picture was taken. I think that the sign works well due to the positioning however you can't really see what else is happening.
